In the wake of the Florida shooting, Dicks Sporting Goods announced it will no longer sell assault rifles and it would not sell any gun to anyone under 21 years of age. In the wake of Dick's news, the nation's largest retailer Walmart also followed suit with similar restrictions, and the grocery chain Kroger also announced they are raising the minimum age to buy guns and ammunition from 18 to 21. Kroger sells firearms in 43 Fred Meyer stores in Alaska, Idaho, Oregon, and Washington.
