Jamie Benn Scores OT Winner, Breaks Stick Over Knee

It was a big game for your Dallas Stars on Saturday night at the AAC. The game went to sudden-death overtime and that's when Stars' captain Jamie Benn ended things with a sweet wrist shot from the slot to give Dallas a 3-2 win over St. Louis.

It's what happened AFTER the goal that's got everyone talking.

After the game reporters asked him about it. In his typically low-key delivery, Benn said "just a bad batch of sticks,"

Or maybe it was because Benn had been in a bit of a goal-scoring drought. His last time to light the lamp was February 3rd. Saturday night's goal broke an 11-game drought. With the win the Stars currently find themselves locked into a Playoff spot.

Let's watch it one more time....
