Van Morrison's Aloof Appearance On American Bandstand

In 1967, Van Morrison was on top of the world, and the charts with his hit single "Brown-Eyed Girl." That meant an appearance on the popular TV show American Bandstand. It also meant he had to lip-sync the song, as well as a second "Ro Ro Rosey" in front of a studio audience of teenagers.

As you'll see, Morrison appeared aloof and disinterested in the whole affair, offering one word answers to Dick Clark during a brief interview between songs.
