Led Zeppelin fans time to start saving those pennies once again. The next Super Deluxe box set from Robert Plant, Jimmy Page, John Paul Jones, and John Bonham will be the famous live show from New York’s Madison Square Garden on July 27-29, 1973 recorded for the film The Song Remains the Same. Now that film’s soundtrack, produced by Page and originally released on Swan Song in 1976, is getting the expanded reissue treatment on September 7.
The Super Deluxe box will also mark the first time the original, full-length film and soundtrack have been available in the same package and will feature newly remastered audio, including a 5.1 surround mix on Blu-ray Audio. YES!!!
