It was a raucous night at American Airlines Center during Round One of the 2018 NHL Draft. When it came time for the host Dallas Stars to make their first pick (#13 overall) General Manager Jim Nill said a few nice words before introducing former #1 overall pick (1988) Mike Modano and current Dallas Stars Captain and Art Ross Trophy winner Jamie Benn. Modano was quick to remind Benn he'd never experienced the draft stage. Oof!
