Dallas Firefighter Saves Woman On Flight To Mexico

Kudos to a 16-year veteran of the Dallas Fire Department, Kenny Homer. He was on his way to a vacation in Cozumel when 30 minutes into his flight to Mexico, he realized something was wrong. A woman behind him fell unconscious and Homer jumped into action to help save her. Though he didn't have any of his normal lifesaving equipment he improvised with help from passengers. He commented, "It's kind of like Batman without the bat belt." Homer performed CPR and gave the woman oxygen until she regained consciousness. He stayed by her side for two hours. reassuring her, and keeping the rest of the plane calm, until they landed in Mexico, where an ambulance was waiting.
