Tonight! Saturn Shines Bright Next To Strawberry Moon

Skywatchers will enjoy a double treat Wednesday night and early Thursday morning, thanks to the full "Strawberry" Moon and our closest view of Saturn this year. You'll need a telescope to see the planet's famous rings. June's full moon is called the Strawberry Moon because it signaled to some Native American tribes that it was the time of year to gather ripening strawberries, according to the Old Farmer's Almanac.
