If your travels take you through South Dallas on Interstate 35E this weekend you’re gonna need to find an alternate route. There will be a full shut down of the highway from 9 pm Friday night until 5 am Monday morning as crews take out the Beckley Avenue overpass. Traffic in both directions will be diverted to the frontage roads.
