Geddy Lee's Big Beautiful Book of Bass

If you love RUSH, and you're a bass player than this book is for you! Geddy Lee's Big Beautiful Book of Bass will be published on December 4th. You can preorder from Amazon here.

The book profiles Geddy Lee's personal collection of vintage electric bass guitars, dating from the 1950s to the 1980s. For the past seven years, he's dedicated himself to studying the history of the instrument that's been so essential to his career, collecting hundreds of basses from around the globe, 250 of which are presented in the book in breathtaking detail.

Lee's Rush bandmate, Alex Lifeson, wrote one of the book's forewords, and there's also commentary by other musicians, like Led Zeppelin's John Paul Jones, Bill Wyman of the Rolling Stones, Robert Trujillo of Metallica, U2's Adam Clayton, Bob Daisley, Les Claypool of Primus and Wilco's Jeff Tweedy.
