Texas A&M Most Valuable College Football Team

Sweet Home Alabama? Well, the Aggies may have something to say about that!  According to a Forbes report released Tuesday, Texas A&M is the most valuable college football team in America. Forbes based this on estimate averages for profits and revenue for the 2014, '15 and '16 seasons. Of course Aggie fans will know this is also a direct result of the Kyle Field renovation and subsequent athletic department contributions.

From 2014-2016. the Aggies’ program brought in $148 million in revenue, with $107 million of it profit, good enough for the top spot, and good enough to supplant the Texas Longhorns into second place with $133 million in revenue and $87 million in profit. Rounding out the top 3 is the Michigan Wolverines recording $127 million revenue and $75 million profit.
