Dallas Stars fans knew it might be coming any day now, and TODAY was the day! The Dallas Stars signed All-Star forward Tyler Seguin to an 8-year contract extension through 2026-27 at an annual average salary of $9.85 million. Seguin is without a doubt one of the most exciting players in the NHL and as the Public Address Announcer for the Stars I look forward to calling his name A LOT over the next 8 years.
The Stars announced the contract extension with a 16-bit animation reminiscent of Super Mario, watch below, as well as footage of Seguin signing on the dotted line.
