As the parent of a veterinarian you know I love this story. 'Rex' has grabbed national attention after he was left to be euthanized just weeks after he was born. Instead, he was saved from a Texas kill shelter by a Wisconsin family and given a second chance on life. 'Rex' now has a wheelchair and he just won 'Runner-Up' in People Magazine's 'Cutest Rescue Dog' Contest.
