20 Years Ago Today, Black Sabbath Reunited On Letterman

It was on this day in 1998 when Black Sabbath reunited for their first national television appearance in 22 years on the Late Show With David Letterman. The original lineup of Ozzy Osbourne, Tony Iommi, Geezer Butler, and Bill Ward performed in their first television appearance together since 1976’s "Don Kirshner’s Rock Concert." The band was supporting the release of their first album in 20 years, the Epic Records double CD "Reunion," which featured a live 1997 performance in England plus two new studio tracks.
