Pink Floyd fans got some good news this week when it was revealed that drummer Nick Mason is bringing his new band 'Saucerful of Secrets' to North America in 2019, and more specifically to Irving at the Pavilion at the Toyota Music Factory on March 24, 2019. Tickets go on-sale 11/9 at 10 AM. This will mark the first time Nick has toured the States (and Texas) since the conclusion of Pink Floyd's The Division Bell tour in 1994.
If you're not familiar with Mason's new band, they're fronted by Gary Kemp of Spandau Ballet, along with Pink Floyd touring bassist Guy Pratt. Guitarist Lee Harris and keyboardist Dom Beken round out the group. They've been known to focus on a lot of Syd Barrett, pre Dark Side of the Moon-era Pink Floyd, stuff like "Arnold Layne," "See Emily Play," and "Lucifer Sam."
