Rami Malek Receives Golden Globes Nomination For 'Bohemian Rhapsody'

Today both Rami Malek and the Queen biopic Bohemian Rhapsody took their first step towards Oscar glory by being nominated for Golden Globes. There's no guarantee a Golden Globe leads to an Academy Award but these days rarely do you see one without the other. The movie got the Golden Globes nod in the Best Motion Picture - Drama category, and Malek as Best Actor in a Motion Picture - Drama. It will be a tough fight for both as Bohemian Rhapsody will be competing against Black Panther, BlacKkKlansman, A Star Is Born, and If Beale Street Could Talk. Malek is up against Bradley Cooper (A Star Is Born), Willem Dafoe (At Eternity's Gate), Lucas Hedges (A Boy Erased) and John David Washington (BlacKkKlansman). The Golden Globes air January 6th on NBC
