Dallas Police Capture 'Halo Bandits' After Car Chase

Kudos to our hard-working law enforcement officials, they got the bad guys!

A car carrying three bank robbery suspects, known as the "Halo Bandits," led police on a dangerous chase across the Metroplex. They allegedly robbed a bank in Hurst, and in the process, one suspect was arrested at the bank and the three others fled. Dallas police located the three and began a chase that took them all the way to Tarrant County and then all the way back to Oak Cliff. One of the more wacky elements of the chase occurred on eastbound I 30, when the suspects' hood flew up, blocking the windshield. Then, as the car exited I-30, the back right tire blew out, which assisted in the chase coming to an end on Barlow Avenue in Oak Cliff, where the three suspects got out of the car and took off on foot through a wooded area. All three suspects were taken into custody without incident.
