I guess this is good news if you commute along Hwy 75 Central Expressway in Collin County. The HOV lanes will now be open to everyone, but they will turn into toll lanes during peak travel times. Construction is set to begin later this year and will affect the HOV lanes along Hwy 75 from 635 LBJ Fwy in Dallas all the way to Sam Rayburn Tollway (Hwy 121) in McKinney. If there's only one person traveling in the vehicle there will be a toll, and the exact price drivers will pay hasn't been set yet. If there are two or more people in the vehicle the lanes will continue to be free. How will they enforce that? Video cameras?
