Well, the rumors were true. The Dallas Cowboys will face the team that knocked them out of the playoffs, the Los Angeles Rams, in a pre-season game in Hawaii at Aloha Stadium in Honolulu on August 17th. It will mark the first NFL exhibition game at Hawaii's largest outdoor arena since 1976. The stadium was previously the site of the Pro Bowl. The Rams are the designated "host" of the game and in being so will have their players and staff hosting an 11-on-11 Tournament and skills competition featuring 16 Hawaii high school football teams, while Rams cheerleaders and 'Rampage' the mascot plan to visit local schools. The club will also bring its PLAY 60 Military Base Tour to support Hawaii's military community.
