Brian Eno To Skip Rock Hall Induction For 'Environmental Reasons'

It's good news/bad news for Roxy Music fans. Frontman Bryan Ferry has confirmed he will perform with the band at Friday's Rock Hall Induction Ceremony, however keyboardist Brian Eno will not. According to a story in UltimateClassicRock.com, guitarist Phil Manzanera says even though "Eno is thrilled to be inducted, he's committed to not flying for a year for environmental reasons, and he's halfway through. He said he feels bad about it. He's very environmentally aware of his carbon footprint, and he doesn't want to break this pledge, but he's very happy for us." Drummer Paul Thompson also won't participate but that's due to health issues, as he's suffering from arthritis in his hands and neck.
