It really didn't sink in until the final horn Tuesday night. The Stars are headed to the 2019 Stanley Cup Playoffs, and they clinched their spot in dominant fashion with a 6-2 win over the Philadelphia Flyers. The Stars were in position to do the same thing last season but faltered down the stretch and missed the Playoffs completely. From the very start of this season though, things seemed different. Superstar forward Tyler Seguin said last year's disappointment stayed with him all summer and he and his teammates were damn sure not gonna let it happen again!. Seguin, along with winger Alexander Radulov, and team Captain Jamie Benn led the way most of the season, and Tuesday night was no exception for Radulov who's been red hot lately. He had a 4 point night (2 goals and 2 assists) and was the number one star in the clinching game. Of course this team wouldn't be where they are now without the goaltending tandem of Ben Bishop and Anton Khudobin. They have been among the league leaders in combined goals against average all season. Now, the Stars must wait to determine who they're first-round opponent will be. They must first finish out the regular season with two remaining games this Friday and Saturday.
