Texas Governor Greg Abbott has been on quite a roll lately. A few weeks back he signed a bill banning red light cameras statewide. Then last weekend it was bill expanding Texas' medical cannabis program. This past Friday Abbott signed House Bill 1545 at an Austin brewery, that will allow craft brewery customers to buy and take home their beer. In the past craft beers were not allowed to be sold in cans or bottles. The new law goes into effect September 1, 2019.
