Sir Elton John was in Paris today, where he received the Legion of Honour from French President Emmanuel Macron during a ceremony at the Elysee Palace. The singer told a crowd outside the palace that he was "humbled" to receive the award. Sir Elton was praised by the president’s office for giving voice to the LGBT community. The musician’s AIDs foundation has raised over £310m over its 25 years of existence.
