Bob Dylan and Neil Young performed together for the first time in 25 years when Neil joined Bob on stage Sunday night in Kilkenny, Irelandfor a version of the traditional hymn, “Will the Circle Be Unbroken."
Dylan hasn’t played it in concert since May 8th, 1976 in Houston during his Rolling Thunder Review tour. And he did do it once before with Young in 1975 in San Francisco.
Dylan and Young's last performance together, which included Bruce Springsteen, was at a Dylan show on October 20th, 1994 at the Roseland Ballroom in New York. They did "Rainy Day Women #12 & 35" and "Highway 61 Revisited."
The two also shared the bill Saturday night in London, but did not perform together. Last night's show marked the end of each of their European tours.
