As Queen's "Rhapsody Tour" gets underway, guitarist Brian May writes on his website: "Me and my Bro’ [drummer Roger Taylor] might disagree about anything you care to name, but we have learned mutual respect over the years, and somehow when we play together, some kind of magic still happens. All hail Rog!!! We are proud of what we are ... we have worked for nearly 50 years to create and constantly update."
May is not taking for granted how lucky he is that the band has been given a new lease on life after all these years following the death of the irreplaceable Freddie Mercury. May goes on to say that singer Adam Lambert is "the Modern Marvel without whom, for sure, Queen would not be out here delivering at the top level. Freddie would approve, big time."
It's a lesson to us all to be grateful for who we are and what we have in our lives! I can't wait to check out the show when it hits the American Airlines Center July 23rd!
