With the entire Lone Star State pulling together to help our neighbors in El Paso, the Gene and Jerry Jones Family Foundation has committed $50,000 to the El Paso Community Foundation Victims Fund established to help families affected by the August 3rd shooting that killed 22 people and injured 26. The NFL Foundation will also donate $50,000. Jerry Jones said "We had our tragedy in El Paso, we are so saddened. The people of El Paso are, to us, are just like being out of Plano. The same percentage of people in El Paso are Cowboys fans as they are right there in Dallas. We're saddened, as everyone is and hope, in some way, we can help with this that might ease it for all of the people in El Paso."
