50 Years Ago Today The Beatles Finally Gave George Harrison The A-Side

It only took 7 years to convince John Lennon and Paul McCartney that his songs were strong enough for the A-side of a single, but it was on this day in 1969 when The Beatles released George Harrison's ode to Pattie Boyd "Something," with "Come Together" on the other side.
