It's that time of year again. The State Fair is in full swing, the weather is cooling down, and tomorrow the greatest rivalry in college football is renewed at the Red River Showdown. The annual matchup of Texas and OU at the Cotton Bowl. The series began in 1900 and has been played in Dallas since 1912, except for 1913 (Houston), 1922 (Norman, Okla.), and 1923 (Austin). Dallas was chosen as a "neutral" site since it is situated approximately halfway between Austin and Norman, Oklahoma. Once again, the Sooner are favored. The line on the game has OU a 9.5-point favorite over Texas. Saturday's game is an early one. Kickoff is scheduled for 11am. If you're not going to the game you can watch it on Fox.
