Released On This Day In 1968 Jimi Hendrix 'Electric Ladyland'

Released on this day in 1968, Electric Ladyland is the third and final studio album by the Jimi Hendrix Experience. It went to number one in the United States, where it spent two weeks at the top spot. It was the Experience's most commercially successful release and their only number one album. Last year, Electric Ladyland received a 50th Anniversary Deluxe Edition, available as a 3CD+blu-ray set or a 6LP+blu-ray edition. Via the blu-ray, both include a new 5.1 surround sound mix by Eddie Kramer, 24 bit/96 kz high resolution stereo audio.
