Jerry Jones Looking To Sign Black Cat After MNF Win

It wasn't looking great for the Dallas Cowboys on Monday Night Football. At the time they were losing to their NFC East rivals, the New York Giants, by the score of 9-3. Then it happened. A black cat darted onto the MetLife Stadium field and delayed the game for three minutes. The black cat ran from the 50 yard line to the end zone. Yes, the cat found the end zone before any Cowboys players. Then it froze in terror as the crowd roared with excitement. Eventually, state troopers chased the little furry guy into an exit under the stadium. From then on the Cowboys outscored the Giants 34-9 to win the game 37-18.

After the game Jerry Jones said he was fearful the cat was a bad omen "I haven't seen one glare at me that far away before, I know he was looking at me the whole time he was out there. But things did kind of change when that black cat came out." Dak Prescott said "I was just wondering who was going to catch the thing, I'm not superstitious, but I wasn't getting near it. Thankfully, we got that thing out of the stadium and was able to get back to the game." Zeke Elliott said he was stayin as far away from that cat as he could because as he said "I'm allergic to cats."

Hopefully Jerry Jones is on the phone with the cat's agent today.
