Here's a story with a miraculous happy ending. A Waxahachie woman accidentally tossed her engagement ring in the trash and decided to take a chance and see if her local landfill could do anything about it. Surprisingly, the folks at the Turkey Creek Landfill in Alvarado were happy to help. Turns out luck was on her side as the garbage truck hadn't dumped it's load yet, so they dumped the contents in an empty area and went to work searching. Ten minutes later they found it!
