We all know Steve Miller and Dusty Hill are Woodrow Wilson grads, but did you know legendary automotive designer, racing driver, entrepreneur, and author Carroll Shelby was too? The Leesburg, Texas native is regarded as one of the best race car drivers in history, inducted into both the International MotorSports Hall of Fame and the Automotive Hall of Fame. But back in the 1930s, Carroll Shelby was a student who preferred racing his signature Willy’s automobile to sitting in class at Woodrow Wilson.
