Nick Jonas and Priyanka Chopra honored their marriage this weekend.
On Sunday (December 1), Jonas took to social media to celebrate their one-year wedding anniversary with a heartfelt tribute dedicated to his wife. “One year ago today we said forever. Well forever isn’t nearly long enough. I love you with all of my heart @priyankachopra happy anniversary,” Jonas captioned an image of the pair on their celebration last year.
The Quantico alum followed suit to mark their first year of marriage with a series of photos from the then-newlyweds’ traditional Hindu ceremony in Chopra’s home country of India. “My promise. Then..today.. forever,” she wrote. “You bring me joy, grace, balance, excitement, passion.. all in the same moment...thank you for finding me..Happy First wedding anniversary Husband.. @nickjonas❤️💋 And Thank you to everyone for the love and good wishes. We feel blessed.”
As fans know, Jonas and Chopra had multiple wedding receptions after tying the knot twice — once to honor Chopra’s Indian culture, and again for Jonas’ Western culture — but officially married on December 1, 2018.
As previously reported, the bride wore a traditional red lehenga, whereas her groom wore a “traditional Indian outfit and turban with a hand-quilted silk sherwani with a hand-embroidered chikan dupatta and a chanderi tissue safa." The lovebirds both dressed in Ralph Lauren designs on their Christian wedding day, officiated by Nick's father Kevin Jonas Sr., on which Priyanka also wore hand-beaded and embellished gown that featured a 75-foot-long veil.
