Today is payday for some. For others its a grim reminder. If you or someone you know is food-insecure, there's some relief headed your way. The North Texas Food Bank is returning to Fair Park to distribute free food this Thursday from 9am to Noon, or until all the food has been given away. According to the Dallas Morning News, the food bank is preparing more than 4,000 boxes of food from the Texas Emergency Food Assistance Program. Those receiving food will need to fill out an intake form ahead of time. The form will be given through the vehicle window and should be completed upon arrival at the gate. Food pickups will be in lots 5A and 6A, between Robert B. Cullum Boulevard and Second Avenue. The food bank is asking people to start lining up at 8 am at Gate 5.
