Dallas Stars Head To Western Conference Final On Back Of Rookie's Hat Trick

Well, it wasn't pretty, and in typical Dallas Stars fashion they made it more "adventurous" than need be, allowing the Colorado Avalanche to come back from a 3-1 Series deficit to tie it 3 games a piece, forcing yet another winner-take-all Game 7. Just as it looked as if the Stars may face the same rotten fate as in years past (2019 & 2016), trailing the Avs 4-3 in the waning moments of the game, 24-year-old Finnish rookie Joel Kiviranta. (pronounced Yo-ehl kee-vee-RAHN-tah) not only scored the game-tying goal with 3:30 left (his 2nd of the game) to send it to overtime, he then scored his 3rd goal of the game (a hat trick) at 7:24 of the OT to send the good guys in #VictoryGreen to the final four for the first time in 12 years. The Dallas Stars are now headed to the Western Conference Final!

Stay tuned, I'm hearing rumors of some very cool things being planned for Stars fans to enjoy the Western Conference Final.
