Sammy Hagar and Michael Anthonyposted a video of them rehearsing with The Circle yesterday (Wednesday) on California's Catalina Island for today's (Thursday) filming of Sammy's Birthday Bash, which will be offered as a pay-per-view special on October 17th on nugs.tv. He turns 73 on Tuesday.
Afterwards they went before the camera to talk about Eddie Van Halen's death on Tuesday, with Sammy saying it was like "getting hit by a Mack truck." He added that while performing Van Halen songs at rehearsal was difficult, the music will "live forever." Anthony then said, "We love you Eddie."
This was followed by a clip of them rehearsing Van Halen's "Right Now" with Sammy asking for a moment of silence beforehand.
