Peter Frampton,Paul Rodgers, Rick Wakeman, John Oates, Keb Mo, Rosanne Cash, Darius Rucker, Duane Eddy, Kiki Dee and many other artists, all working remotely, recently took part in an all-star recordingof the Ben E. King classic “Stand by Me.”
It was organized by legendary BBC disc jockey Bob Harris to raise money for Help Musicians, which benefits out of work musicians in England due to the pandemic.
“We want to raise funds to help the diverse and dedicated grass roots music community that we love so much,” says Harris.
It will be released on October 27th, the 60th anniversary of the day King recorded it in 1960,
