Tony Iommi Doesn't Much Care For Robert Fripp and Toyah's vid (he jealous?)

Black Sabbath guitarist Tony Iommi is questioning the sanity of King Crimson guitarist Robert Fripp and his wife, singer Toyah Willcox, in regards to their bizarre Sunday Lunch video series in which they cover classic songs.

Having done Sabbath's "Paranoid" late last year, Iommi tells Heavy Consequence, “I think they’ve gone mad, actually. I think this lockdown has drove them mental."

But Toyah tells The Guardianthat they do it to prevent her husband from going mad.

"Here I am in this house with this 74-year-old husband who I really don’t want to live without. He was withdrawing, so I thought: ‘I’m going to teach him to dance.’ And it became a challenge.”

She adds that she does the "lighting, the filming, the conceptual side and the persuading Robert to take part.”

In addition to playing guitar on the songs, Fripp even donned a tutu for a version of Swan Lake.

In addition to Sabbath, the couple have covered songs by Metallica, Billy Idol, Guns N’ Roses, Joan Jett, and their latest, Jimi Hendrix's "Purple Haze."
