The long-delayed box set version of John Lennon's Plastic Ono Band will finally be out on April 16th.
Plastic Ono Band: The Ultimate Collectionhassix CDs and two Blu-Ray discs, that contains 87 never-before-heard recordings. There's a new "Ultimate" mix of the original album, outtakes, jam sessions and demos. There's also a 132-page hardback book with lyrics, rare photos, tape box images, memorabilia and extensive notes.
The box set also includes one CD version of "Ultimate Mixes" from the original album and three non-album singles -- plus two CD and LP versions with outtakes.
