Lynyrd Skynyrd singerJohnny Van Zant received his first of two Pfizer COVID shots last week.
In his weekly Facebook video, he says, "I know there's a lot of people out there that are scared of this shot... I don't know. Everybody's individual. That's the cool thing about living here in Florida. Our governor's kind of opened it up for us and let us be adults, wear our mask and wash our hands...
"This is a terrible virus that we're dealing with... They're gonna probably, anybody that flies, travels, they're gonna mandatory it... I'm not telling anybody what they need to do, but you need to think about what you want to do and go do it."
Van Zant adds that Skynyrd is set to return to the road on June 4th at the Pepsi Gulf Coast Jamin Panama City, Florida.
In other Skynyrd news, they have posted their performance of “Saturday Night Special" from their Live at Knebworth ’76collection, which will be out on April 9th. It’s on their Facebook page as well as YouTube.
