There was some “Rambo II”-caliber terror for parachutist in the Russian Aerospace Forces. Apparently, the soldier’s gear somehow got entangled with the helicopter he was jumping out of. While at approximately 6,500-feet, the jumper could be seen hanging from the helicopterperilously while the pilot took steps to maneuver him back to Earth. Added to that was the speed of the chopper, about 124mph, and the fact that there were sub-zero temperatures…adding severe frostbite risk to what was already a nasty situation. Fortunately, the soldier got to the ground safely, but it’s still not known what the cause of the accident was.
