Has Keith Richards just given us a taste of the new music The Rolling Stones are working on?
Instead of posting another photo showing him in the studio, he has put up a short videoof him laying down a Chuck Berry-style guitar track along with a caption that says, "Music is a language that doesn’t speak in particular words. It speaks in emotions, and if it’s in the bones, it’s in the bones.”
When done, the album will be the Stones' first since 2016'sBlue & Lonesome, a collection of blues covers, and their first of original songs since A Bigger Bangin 2005.
Last October, Mick Jagger posted a :45 second clip of him singing a song called "Pride Before a Fall," which, judging by the lyrics, he's taking a shot at President Trump.
And in 2019, Jagger posted a video of him laying down a guitar track on a new song.
In April of last year, the Stones rush released one of the new songs, "Living in a Ghost Town." It was their first original song since “Doom and Gloom” and “One More Shot” from their 2012 compilation albumGRRR!
