Dave Grohl is releasing a new book in the fall that he promises will be "a collection of memories of a life lived loud."
The Storyteller: Tales of Life and Music contains stories of Grohl's life written by Grohl himself. He says, "From my early days growing up in the suburbs of Washington, DC, to hitting the road at the age of 18, and all the music that followed, I can now share these adventures with the world, as seen and heard from behind the microphone."
The book, which is scheduled to come out October 5th, follows Dave's True Stories-- an Instagram page he uses to share short stories about moments in his life. Today's announcement was accompanied by an audio excerpt from the book, narrated by Grohl, which can be heard on YouTube. (Kerrang)
