Pink Floyd's David Gilmour's Tribute to Peter Green "Need Your Love So Bad"

The previously unreleased recording of the late Fleetwood Mac founder and guitarist Peter Green singing Little Willie John's "Need Your Love So Bad," which the Mac released as a single in 1968, is now available.

David Gilmour added guitars to this recording, which Green did at his mother's house in the late '60s. Green heard and approved this new recording before his death last July.

This song, along with Mick Fleetwood and Metallica'sKirk Hammett playing on a new version of the Mac's "Man of the World," will be included with the Ultra Limited and Deluxe editions of Peter Green - The Albatross Man,an illustrated visual book of his life and career that he'd been working for four years with Rufus Publications.

These two editions, along with a standard no-frills version, will be published on what would have been Green's 75th birthday, October 29th, 2021.

Last year, both Gilmour and Hammett took part in the Green tribute concert in London organized by Fleetwood.
