Chris Pratt and His Band, Mouse Rat - "5,000 Candles in the Wind"

If you’re a fan of NBC’s “Parks & Recreation,” you probably remember Chris Pratt’s fiction band from the show Mouse Rat! To mark the 10th anniversary of the band’s Pawnee reunion performance, where they debuted the iconic anthem “5,000 Candles In The Wind” in honor of town mascot Li’l Sebastian, Mouse Rat is finally releasing their debut album.

“The Awesome Album” features some special guests, like Nick Offerman’s character Ron Swanson’s jazz alias Duke Silver, along with Jeff Tweedy’s band for the show Land Ho!. Mouse Rat’s debut album is due for release on August 27th and can be pre-ordered on vinyl, CD and cassette HERE.

In the meantime, folks can listen to “5,000 Candles In The Wind (Bye Bye Li’l Sebastian),” which has finally gotten an official release.Check it out to the right.
