Eddie Van Halen was known to hang onto riffs and pieces of music for years, and a newly dug-up video proves just that.
The fan site Van Halen Brazil posted a video of Eddie in his 5150 Studios working on the guitar parts for Van Halen's "Amsterdam," a track that wouldn't be released until 1995's Balance.
And though the video labels the session as from 1985, it's not clear if that's the exact date since Eddie is wearing a shirt that says "Team Jams National Champs 1986."
This newly posted clip follows another with previously unseen Van Halen footage that hit YouTube this week. That showed the band miming "So This Is Love" while performing among large sculptures of dinosaurs at a prehistoric-themed park in Italy in late 1981.
