Eric Clapton and Van Morrison have teamed up for another collaboration.
They've transformed "Where Have All the Rebels Gone” from Morrison's recent album Latest Record Project: Volume 1into a more up-tempo rock track called "The Rebels." It features Clapton singing lead with Morrison on harmony vocals. Check out a lyric video for the song on YouTube, where they're billed as "Slowhand and Van."
A 12-inch vinyl single with the instrumental version on the B-side will be released on September 10th. Proceeds from the single will go to the Van Morrison Rhythm & Blues Foundation to assist out-of-work musicians.
This collaboration comes after last year's anti-lockdown song "Stand and Deliver."
