A Vancouver, Washington, man did a nice gesture for a total stranger and it led to a friendship. Mikhail Protopopov collects Hot Wheels cars and spotted a Honda Civic Type R parked near his home. He had the Hot Wheels version of the same car, so he decided to leave it for the driver.
Mikhail left the toy, which was not just the same car, but even the same color, on the windshield of the Civic and waited. He filmed from his window to catch the driver’s reaction, which was priceless. He does a little happy dance while looking around to see who left him this gift.
“When I saw his reaction, to be honest, I myself got hyped up,” Mikhail says. “I was like I got to meet this guy. After we became friends real quick.” The two of them actually worked together on editing a video of the Hot Wheels surprise and it’s gone viral with more than 25-million views, but the highlight for Mikhail came when Hot Wheels reached out to him about it. The mega fan says it was “one of his greatest achievements.
