Rush's Alex Lifeson, talks New Signature Guitar, Side Project and More!

Alex Lifeson has new music on the way. But not with Rush, he’s confirmed that he has an album recorded with his side project Envy Of None.

In a new interview, Alex reveals that Envy Of None has been in the works since after Rush’s 40th-anniversary tour. The band consists of Alex, Coney Hatch, bassist/singer Andy Curran and singer Maiah Wynne. Alex says their album will “hopefully” be out in the “late summer, early fall.”

"So we've basically done an album's worth of material that we hope to release sometime soon," Alex says. “All the music is recorded. We are mixing currently. I’m really excited about that.” Check out a clip to the right.
