Phoebe Bridgers is the latest to share their contribution to Metallica’s covers album “The Metallica Blacklist.” She’s dropped her take on Metallica’s “Nothing Else Matters.”
“It’s kind of a gateway to metal because they’re so hooky and you can hold onto so much of it and it actually can get stuck in your head,” Phoebe says about the band. “That’s what I’ve always loved about Metallica is that they don’t shy away from a great hook.”
Phoebe is one of over 50 artists celebrating the 30th anniversary of Metallica’s “Black Album,” including Weezer, St. Vincent, Elton John, Cage The Elephant, Miley Cyrus and more. “The Metallica Blacklist” is due for release on September 10th and can be pre-ordered HERE.
