A photo of one of the last public appearances made by Charlie Watts has surfaced.
It was taken in May of last year when he and Shirley, his wife of 57 years, attended a charity event in Oxford, England for Forever Hounds Trust, which rescues and cares for unwanted, abused or abandoned greyhounds,
Shirley is a patron and longtime supporter of the organization, and, while at this event, they adopted a five-year old greyhound, Suzie.
Shirley and Charlie also raised Arabian horses.
Watts was 80 when he died Tuesday in a London hospital from an undisclosed illness.
